This is the best location in Raton for a restaurant and gift shop.
The white car is on the off ramp from I-25 to join Clayton Road and the city of Raton.  The traffic count here is enormous! Virtually everyone driving from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico or Colorado and points beyond must drive right past this business. 
It is located at the intersection of Clayton Highway, Highways 64/87, I-25 and Cedar Street; by far the busiest traffic area in Raton. It is the anchor for the restaurant and fast food district.  It is surrounded by most motels in town such as:  Comfort Inn, Super 8, Motel 6, Best Western Sands, Holiday Classic, Microtel, Colt, El Kapp, Texan and others.  It is the pathway to most of the others.  This area is a must stop for topping off your fuel tank at one of the many service stations for travelers and truckers.  The local truck stop is just down the street.
Highway 64/87 is currently being expanded to a 4 lane highway.
